Can you calculate your annual school ratings?
The South Carolina State Department of Education and the Education Oversight Committee are sponsoring a series of workshops to ensure that principals understand how their 2007 school absolute and improvement ratings are calculated as well as advance notice on the inclusion of end-of-course test data in the 2008 school absolute and improvement ratings.
The workshops are scheduled for November 6, 7 and 8 on the following schedule:
Elementary and Middle School Principals:
8:30 Registration
9:00-11:00 Ratings Workshop
All School Level Principals:
11:30-12:30 Data Collection Manual Orientation
High School Principals:
1:30 Registration
2:00-4:00 Ratings Workshop
